With the development of agriculture and economy, greenhouse planting has made great and rapid progress in china. In order to study the structure of soil oribatida communities and changing regulation in plastic glasshouse, and the effect of soil oribatida by plastic glasshouse, We select totally 8 spots that chosen from the plastic glasshouse that are using for one year, three years, five years, seven years, nine years and form the plastic glasshouse that had abandoned for one year, three years, the farmland is used as control. Each spot has the similar vegetable cultivation type and season. From May of 2002 to April of 2003, we got samples each month (12 times totally). The samples were collected quantitatively each layer. The capacity of soil wreath knife is 100 crn3. We collected 72 samples each month with the methods of hand selecting and the Tullgren Funnel Method to collect the soil oribatida. At the same time, we also recorded the main environmental factors such as soil temperature, water containing capacity and the PH value of the soil.The research indicated that, in the soil oribatida community in Qingzhou plastic glasshouse, Scheloribates is the predominant species, account for 36.76% of the total number; in the next place are Ceratozetes and Tectocepheus, account for 12.54% and 10.86% of the total number respectively, act as the predominant species either. Soil oribatida exhibits extremely gregarious trait, obviously upright distributing in the soil. Soil oribatida amount has a marked seasonal change, and the majority inclines to distribute in topsoil with high temperature, while low temperature may cause the oribatida moving adown.The species of oribatida decreased gradually with the fixed number of year of increased in plastic glasshouse. After 3 year of discarded greenhouse, oribatida community restored gradually in plastic glasshouse, and diversity index added. According to the analysis of MGP, soil oribatida community belonged to the type of O in plastic glasshouse of Qingzhou, and the P type quantificationally. The variety of communities were determined by some indexes, i.e. Shannon-Wiener diversity index, Pielou equality index, Simpson superiority index, the results showed the variety of soil animal community was low, the density of oribatida reached the climax of 25389头/m2·15cm in the third year of glasshouse, the equality index was 84.19% in the nintieth year, and the variety index 2.4472 in field. The results of investigation indicated that the plastic greenhouse can cause the decrease of the amount, density and a lower diversity index for soil animals.
