In this paper the cultivation characteristics and high-yielding technology for different varieties of Pseudostellaria heterophylla (Miq.) Pax ex Pax et Hoffm., Fujian Geo-authentic Chinese Crude Drugs were studied by using the investigation and the systematic selection in the main productive areas, the techniques of dissociating, purring germ plasm, the random area designing, the contrast designing, and the variety comparison of special experimental study in a 3-year continuous session . The result indicated that the biological and productive characteristics of P. heterophylla (Miq.) Pax ex Pax et Hoffm. Var. macrophylla(PM), P. heterophylla (Miq.) Pax ex Pax et Hoffm. Var. Foliolum. (PF), and P. heterophylla (Miq.) Pax ex Pax et Hoffm. Var. arvense(PA) were significantly different (P<0.01), and it appeared to differ in ecological adaptability, plant characteristics, pollen granule, chromosome, and isoenzyme of the three cultivars. Accordingly the high-yielding technology was established including land leveling, variety selecting, reasonable planting rate, plastic film mulch, fertilizer controlling, bud packing, and shading etc. The variety types of Pseudostellaria heterophylla (Miq.) Pax ex Pax et Hoffm. wasdenominated and pictured for the first time. The characteristics and productivity index system of Pseudostellaria heterophylla (Miq.) Pax ex Pax et Hoffm. varieties were given at the same time. These results could be used as a good reference to further study Chinese Crude Drugs Good Agriculture Practice (GAP) production in Pseudostellaria heterophylla (Miq.) Pax ex Pax et Hoffm..
