Based on the review of relationship of Mo and P, pot culture experiments were conducted to study on the mechanism of enhancing cold -resistance of winter wheat and the influence on the mass and quality of winter wheat grain by Mo and P with yellow-brown acid soil collected from Xinzhou district, Hubei province. The results are as follows:1. The compound of Mo, P with a suitable quantity can increase the number of tillers , spikes , grains and improve the biomass and yield of winter wheat. The prominent relationship between Mo and P exists and the optimal treatment is the MoP2 (Mo: 0.15mg/kg, P: 0.20g/kg).2. Both Mo and P influence the content of elements of the winter wheat, such as N, P, K . The N , P content of winter wheat with the fertilizer of Mo and P drop notably, at the same time, the N, P, K cumulant of winter wheat increase notable ,comparing with the treatment without the fertilizing of Mo and P. The significant mutual effect exists between Mo and P.3. The fertilizer of both Mo and P can increase the content of amylose and branch amylum in the winter wheat, especially for branch amylum. The signifcant mutual effect exists between Mo and P.4. The content diversification of protein-N and non-protein-N has the same trend, and the protein-N content of the grain of winter wheat drop notably when fertilizing the Mo and P, comparing with the treatment without fertilizing the Mo and P.5. Fertilizing winter wheat with Mo, P can increasing the soluble sugar, water-soluble protein content and enhancing cold-resistance of winter wheat. The significant mutual effect exists between Mo and P, especially when the temperature is comparatively low.6. Fertilizing winter wheat with Mo, P can increasing Vitamin C and ABA content of winter wheat and lighten the injure of low temperature on the winter wheat.7. Fertilizing winter wheat with Mo, P can decrease the MDA content of winter wheat and lighten the injure of low temperature on the winter wheat. The significant mutual effect exists between Mo and P.
