Investigating The Pest Of Golden-Autumn Pear And Studying About Control Measure

Golden-Autumn Pear is a plant variation from the bud of Xingao pear and has the excellent properties of large fruit, beautiful appearance, high quality, high yield, short maturity, long storage term, ready transportation, broad adaptability and strong anti-adversity. This variety was accredited by Hunan Sci-technological Committee in 1994 and is a distinct and excellent variety of fruit in South China. With the growth of development scale in mountain areas, the disease and insect pests prevention and cure is especially important.Studying pests of Gold-Autumn Pear in Da-long Country Long-tian Local Government in Hong-jiang City from February 2003 to October 2004, we primarily think Gold-Autumn Pear's diseases include Gymnosporangium haracanumsyd, Venturia Pirina Aderh, Alternaria Kikuchiano Tanaka, Physalospora piricola Nose, and its insects include Psylla Pyrisuga Forst, Cinacium iakusuiensis kishida, Janus Piri Okamoto et Muramatsu,Toxoptera Piricola Mats, Urochela Luleovaria Distant, Eucleidae. Its main diseases are Gymnosporangium haracanumsyd, Venturia Pirina Aderh and Alternaria Kikuchiano Tanaka, main insects are Psylla Pyrisuga Forst, Cinacium iakusuiensis kishida. We know when and how they arise through systemic investigation to "three diseases and two insects", and it is very helpful to guide farmer how to control Gold-Autumn Pear pest. Results indicated that the frequency of insecticide spray declined by at lease three times, the rate of sick fruits decreased sharply, while the rate of high-quality fruits raised by above 25%, the speed of the spread of disease and insects has been effectively controlled. The yield of demonstration pear garden is 800kg/mu higher than that of control garden, the income per mu of demonstration pear garden rises by 3000 Yuan in comparison with thecontrol group, namely 30%. Under the comprehensive prevention and cure technology system, the use of high-toxin was given up, the pollution of environment by insecticide was controlled, the ecologic environment was improved, the quality of product was upgraded, the competitiveness of product was strengthened, and therefore the large economic, ecological and social effectiveness was obtained. This technology is promoting the formation of ecological, green agriculture and the idea of modern agriculture without public effect of pollutions, making the Golden-autumn pear a real famous and excellent green fruit variety that is popular in international market.
