Applying Jinhua Pear( Pyrus brctschneiri Rehd.) and its eighteen varied strains as testing materials,several fairly good strains of synthetical pripcrties were screened out of the others through the investigation of biological characteristics and the analysis of fruits quality.On the base of these ,physiological indexes of resistance and peroxidase isoenzyme were also studied.The results show: (l)Some genetic variation occurred in the course of spreeding and cultivating of Jinhua Pear.Among some strains which exceptional or synthetical properties were better than the others ,four varied strains that were 3#.. 4# 14#.. 18# were much better than Jinhua Pear.There were some divergences in phenology peroid. fruiting and premature dmpping output quality of fruit,and so on, in some strains.The result of gathering and classing for seven indexes of fruit quality was similar to that of screening on the whole. (2)Investigation and study of resistance showed that the disease resistance and the frigid resistance of Jinhua Pear existed some variation.The capacity of resistance for disease showed obvious difference in field among these varied strains,the analysis of the soluble sugar content of leaves tissue obtained the similar result; there was extreme significant negative correlation between them.Authough these materials didnt display difference in field,the test and analysis of the seepage rate of electrolyte indicated showed that their inherent frigid resistance physiology had 3S varified;the soluble sugar content of tissue and frigid resistance existed aextreme marked positive correlation.The entire resistance of 3# 4#.. 13#. l4#. 18# was significantly strong than the contrastinhua Pear0 (3)Analysis of peroxidase isoenzyme patters confirmed those variations, which were cased by genetic variation , not by enviranment.The differences of peroxidase isoenzyme patters expressed on the quantity and activity of bands.The peroxidase isoenzyme patters of Jinhua Pear and its varied strains bad four identical basic bands,only single strains increased or decreased one or two weak bands.The quantity and the activity of pcroxidase isoenzyme bands were related to disease resistance and frigid resistance to a certain degree. Some questions about biological characteristics resistance quality of fruit and analysis of peroxidase isoenzyme were also discussed in this paper.
