A lot of man-made feed are used in breeding Penaeus vannamei, which causes a large quantity of remains of feed and sediment of metabolite. The breeded water flowing into the sea leads to the rich of the seashore water. The catabolism of organic matters spends lots of oxygen dissolved in water, and produces plenty of harmful H2S and NH3-N, which gives rise to the unbalance of breed system. A large quantity of medicines and chemical reagents used in prevention of virus pollute the pond water and make the increase of sediments of drugs in prawns. In order to form a stable artificial eco-system of prawn pond, corophium sp, amphithoe japonica, pseudopolgdora sp, assiminea sp were transplanted into the pond and experiments were conducted in this system. It was proved that the artificial eco-system can perform the following functions in the cultivation of prawn: proficiently make full use of the organic matters of the pond; improving the environment of the soil in pond; decreasing the consumption of oxygen and the yield of harmful H2S and NH3-N, providing the cozy living condition and preventing the breakout of virus. In this artificial eco-system, the growth rate (day) of prawns is 3.45% on average, while the prawns that eat the artificial feed is only 2.09%.
