Study On The Construction Of Hebei Plant Protection Information Network

In this thesis, the establishment process of Hebei plant protection information network (HPPIN) was described. The processes were mainly described as follow:The first is the establishment of the group for HPPIN. The group for HPPIN came into existence since 2003. This is a group full of creativity, and with high ability. The members of the group came from different area of Hebei province; they can represent different area perfectly. The members have the responsibility for collection and report of basic plant protection information. The system of report, examine and approve was standardized. Information report on time and dependable was emphasized.The second is investigation criterion of plant disease and insect pest was perfected. New technique and investigation tools were applied; the investigation criterion became more reasonable and scientific. Labor strength of the information member was alleviated, accurate rate of plant disease and insect pest forecasting was increased.The third is the establishment of the platform for information transfer and release (HPPIN). The information transfer became more fast and accurate. The feedback time of information was shortened. Precious time for scientific guidance for pest control was saved. Information storage came more systemic. Facilities were afforded for information search and reuse. The form of information release was increased. The information overlay scope was further extended.The fourth is ArcView Gis graphics software were used to enrich the performance methods for prediction and forecasting. The contents of forecasting became intuitionistic and visual.
