The aim of this study was to evaluate NOAEL salinomycin and arsanilic acid on lipid peroxidation and male reproductive toxicity of mice, and influence of salinomycin and arsanilic acid on development of chicken embryo were also estimated. The results are as follows: 1. The influence on lipid peroxidation of salinomycin and arsanilic acid to mice40 mice were randomly divided into 4 groups: salinomycin group(Sal) arsanilic acid group(AA) salinomycin+arsanilic add group(Sal+AA) and control group.The mice were administrated with above medicine every day the first week and then every two days for the rest of the test(60 days). The liver kidney spleen lung and heart were weighed and count the rate of viscera to the body ,showing the rates of liver kidney (right side) and spleen to body was not significantly distinctness(p>0.05),but the rates of liver to body of Sal AA and Sal+AA groups were higher to control group(6.80 10.53 and 5.04% respectively), the rates of lung to body of experment groups were significantly falled(p<0.01).The activities of SOD, GSH-PX and the level of MDA in liver kidney and plasma were determined, indicating Sal significantly reduced the activities of SOD in liver(p<0.05) and in plasma,the activities of SOD and GSH-Px in kidney were reduced significantly too.but did not effect the level of MDA and the activity GSH-Px in liver and the activity GSH-Px in plasma(p>0.05), AA could reduced the activities SOD and GSH-Px in kidney and the activity GSH-Px in liver(p<0.01),but the activity SOD in liver and the activities SOD and GSH-Px in plasma and the level MDA in liver and kidney and plasma were not effected significantly(p>0.05), Sal+AA significantly reduced the activity SOD in liver and the activity GSH-Px in kidney, the level MDA in plasma significantly increased,but the activities SOD and GSH-Px and the level MDA in liver and kidney were not effected significantly(p>0.05).2.Effect of salinomycin and arsanilic acid on reproductive toxicity of male mice30 mice were randomly divided into 5 groups: salinomycin group(Sal)> arsanilic acid group(AA) salinomycin+arsanilic acid group(Sal+AA) negative group (NO and positive group (PC) . The mice were euthanatized after sixty days.The testicle and epididymis of right side were weighed ,the sperm abnormality were evaluated,the activities SOD GSH-Px and LDH and the level MDA in testicle were determined.The weight of testicle and epididymis and the rates of sperm abnormality were not effected significantly(p>0.05). Sal AA and Sal+AA did not influence the activites SOD and GSH-Px and the level MDA significantly(p>0.05),but could reduce the activity GSH-Px significantly in testicle (p<0.05). 3.Effect of salinomycin and arsanilic acid on the development chicken embryo150 chicken embryos were randomly divided into 5 groups: salinomycin group(Sal) arsanilic acid group(AA) salinomycin+arsanilic acid group(Sal+AA), salinomycin+arsanilic acid +cadmium group(Sal+AA+Cd) and control group(C).The chemical were injected into the air room of fertilized eggs and chicken embryos were determined after hatching nineteen days .The mortality rates of experiment groups were 63.3% 53.3 % 73.3% and 60.0% .respectively. Malformations of encephalocele severly thinned eyes short beak curved neck were not observed,but the chicken embryos were emaciated with natural embryo. Edemas malformations in head and neck were observed in AA and Sal+AA groups. Skeletal malformations did not appear after being treated with Alizarin red.In conclusion,Sal and AA could decrease antioxidative function in liven kidney , plasma and testicle , induce early chicken embryoes death,but did not effect the abnormality of sperm.These results indicate that Sal and AA residue in animal food can effect on antioxidative function and reproduction ability of human. Culturists should decrease application of Sal and AA,and control the withdrawal time strictly.The detection standard of animal drug residues should enhaced also.
