The Study On The Growth Of Hezuo Swine

The study on the growth of Hezuo swine fed in Linze xinhua boar farm showed that the weight of Hezuo swine presented linear growth before 7 months. The growth curve accorded with the biological growth laws.The absolute curve is a bell symmetric normal curve .During 3 to 4 months, the absolute growth maximum is 242.563g. Relative growth curve decreased by months. The slaught test was taken on at 40, 60, 90, 115, 140, 180 and 210 days. In 90 days , the dressing percent is lower in 40～44% and increased unstably after 115 days. Carcass length enlarged double of 40 days'. The thickness of skin, back-fat and belly increase by days. The test on viscera showed the growth intensity of stomach and large intestine exceeded weight's, and liver, small intestine, lungs and kidney presented lower growth intensity compared with weight's. In 210 days, the growth intensity of viscera increased on different extent, except for small intestine which declined by days. The analysis of allometric growth showed small intestine and liver were earlier-maturing than others, large intestine was later-maturing organ. Among composes of the carcass, muscle occupied large ratio, the growth intensity is highest, so it was a late-maturying tissue; Secondly, skeleton was early-maturing compared with muscle. The ratio and growth intensity of skin and fat were unstable ,which declined after 90 days and matured early. Among the chemical compositions of muscal, the ratio of water was highest about in 69～86%, secondly the ratio of protein was 18~20%, the ratio of fat was 1～4%, and the ratio of ash was about 1%. The analysis of allometric growth showed that the deposition speed of protein and fat were faster than ash and water. Most of dam's reproductive organs, such as ovary, uterus grew on compound model, so did testies' weight, its length grew on linear model. Above all, during 90 to 140 days, the growth on weight and other organs presented higher intensity. The histological observation on ovary indicated broken follicles and corpus luteums were observed in 90 days and few sperms in sustain cell were observed on testes in 115 days, a large number of sperms on epididymidis in 180 days.
