Brassica parachinensis (2N=20, AA) and Brassica napus (2N=38, AACC) have the identical AA genomes. The interspecific hybrids between them showed low fertility and provide an opportunity to transfer sterility gene from Brassica napus to Brassica parachinnsis.By means of artificially pollens from Brassica parachinnsis to stigmas of unblossomed flowers in Brassica napus, the interspecific F1 hybirds between them were obtained and backcrossed by Brassica parachinnsis The anthers of F1 hybirds and backcross generations were cultured in vitro. Several charactors related leaf-vagetable quality and productivity were measured.Pollens from the hybrids were fewer and smaller than their parents .The aterility among F1 and backcross generations was:F1 |
