Forest carrying capacity is a recent matter in theory of forest management and forest ecology. Forest carrying capacity is an important and key index in evaluating forest sustainability and one gist of forest management and decision-making of a certain region. Therefore, the study on forest carrying capacity has important significance in both theory and practice. System simulation,having been preliminarily used in forestry trade,is an effective method of studying complex system including forest ecosystem.The thesis has done some probing research on theory and method of system simulation's applying to Forest carrying capacity,giving an example of developing a Provincial Forest Carrying Capacity Estimate System. Moreover the thesis has brought forward an important idea of orienting it to distributed simulation, through looking for a baise design based on High Level Architecture with a view of improving systematic interoperability and reuse. In order to use the professional emulational tool MATLAB\SIMULINK further in the forestry trade in the future in realizing more complicated simulate function, the paper have also analysed and practised part of shuffling technology of VC and MATLAB in the course of development of this system.The development of the system has been primarily implemented with the use of component technology and Integrate Index Method and so on.
