Study On Evaluation On Forest Carrying Capacity Of Nanchang City

The forest is the main terrestrial ecosystems, forest Carrying Capacity is animportant element in the evaluation of forest sustainability, and is an importantindicator of the capacity for the evaluation of regional sustainable development ofsociety capacity. In this paper, the object of study is Nanchang city, thetheoreticalbasis includes land carrying capacity, the threshold theory and so on.Based on theanalysis of the factors that affecting the forest carrying capacity,frequency statisticalmethod, theoretical analysis and expert consultation to build the evaluation indexsystem. The comprehensive index method was evaluatedof Nanchang Forest carryingCapacity, putting forward the countermeasuresto improve the forest carrying capacity.Providing a reference for the Nanchang forestry planning and development. The mainresults of this paper are as follows:(1) Mainly in four major areas affecting the carrying capacity of the forest: foreststructure, forest ecology, economic development, social factors.(2) Forest carrying capacity evaluation index system is consisted from targetlayer, state layer and index layer. The target layer is Nanchang forest carrying capacity.The state layer includes forest structure requirement, forest ecosystems requirement,economic development requirement, social development requirement. The index layerincludes23indicators, for example,the forest coverage, unit stock volume and so on.Using AHP to determine the weight of each index, the level of each index iscalculated by dimensionless.(3) The forest carrying capacity index of Nanchang city is0.7887. Carryingindex of Structure requirement is0.8104, carrying index of ecological, requirement is0.6900,carrying index of economy requirement is0.7376, carrying index of ecologicalrequirement is0.8484. Showing that the carrying capacity of structure requirement isthe worst, the carrying capacity of social development is the best. On the whole, thecarrying capacity is Weak capacity.(4) Countermeasures to improve the forest carrying capacity of Nanchangsummarized as follows: afforestation, construction of ecological corridor, standtending and other means to improve forest cover and forest quality; building Soil andWater Conservation Forest and encourage the cultivation of artificial broad-leavedforest and coniferous and broad mixed forest ability to strengthen the eco-efficiency;building Fast-growing Plantation, planting crops of forest economy to improveforestry output value and per capita GDP. Strengthen training, improve the quality ofprofessionals, focusing on the construction and protection of scenic forest to improvethe social benefits of the limited forest resources.
