Application of REE in agriculture, which is an important burgeoning edge subject, isdeveloped in China in recent thirty years. Adidition of REE with appropriate dose can raisecrop production and improve crop quality, which has been confirmed by many experimentsand studies. However, the mechanism of it has not been understood completely. As the theoretics is concerned, absorbing and using of mineral nutrition elements inthe crop are actualized through the biochemistry reactions which are catalysised by relativeenzymes. Enzyme activity which affects the biochemistry reactions would work on thecrop about the absorbtion, using and distribution of mineral nutrition elements N and P. This experiment adopts wheat as treated crop and study rare earth elements La and Ceon enzyme activity and mineral nutrition elements N, P absorbtion, using and distributionin wheat. The relationships between them are also studied here, by the way of culture inwater, combined with analysis of indoors, to search for the relationships among rare earthelements, enzyme activity and mineral nutrition elements N, P absorbtion, using anddistribution, then to provide academic referencedata for mechanism of the effects of rareearth elements on crops. This experiment concentration treated with La and Ce is 0mg/L, 0.5mg/L, 1.0 mg/L,2.0mg/L, 5.0mg/L, 10.0mg/L, 25.0mg/L and 50.0mg/L respectively. NR activity isdetermined by sulfanilamide colorimetry. GS activity is determined by spectrophotometer.H~+-ATPase activity is determined by spectrophotometer. By analyzing theorically, rare earth elements could affect the absorbtion, using anddistribution of mineral nutrition elements N and P, which maybe because rare earthelements could affect the relative enzyme activity. The study results have also beenconfirmed from this experiment. Enzyme activity in the overground and the undergroundof wheat are influenced differently by rare earth elements and the effects on the latter aremore distinct than the former. The study results have proved: in low dosages La and Ce have both improved NR, GSand H~+-ATPase activity of wheat differently, while restrained in high dosages. In low dosages La has improved NR, GS activity and P in the overground andunderground of wheat and maximal stimulus dosage is 5.0mg/L. H~+-ATPase activity in theunderground and N in the overground of wheat have also been improved furthest at thisconcentration. The supreme stimulus dosage of La to H~+-ATPase activity in the overgroundof wheat is 10.0mg/L however N in overground of wheat has been restrained in thisdosages. In low dosages Ce has improved NR activity in the underground and N in theoverground and the underground of wheat and maximal stimulus dosage is 5.0mg/L. Themaximal stimulus dosage to GS activity and N in the overground of wheat is 0.5mg/L. Themaximal stimulus dosage of Ce to H+-ATPase activity and P in the overground and GS inthe underground of wheat is 1.0mg/L. NR activity in the overground and H+-ATPaseactivity and P in the underground have been improved furthest at 10.0mg/L however P inthe overground of wheat has been restrained in this dosages. In low dosages La,Ce have improved diversion of N from the underground to theoverground while restrained it in low dosages. The maximal stimulus dosage of La is5.0mg/L and of Ce is 10.0mg/L. In low dosages La has also improved diversion of P from the underground to theoverground while restrained it in low dosages. However In low dosages Ce has notimproved distinctly but high of 5.0mg/L has restrained it. By further analyzing, N in the underground of wheat has not been improved furthestby La at 5.0mg/L while NR and GS activity in the underground of wheat have been anddiversion of N from the underground to the overground has been maximal. It maybebecause N has been diverted from the underground to the overground partly. In 5.0mg/L ofCe, NR activity and N in the underground of wheat have been improved furthest at thesame dosages. But in 10.0mg/L of Ce, N in the underground of wheat has been restraineddistinctly. It maybe also because...
