The present situation of 30% usage in one growing season ,and about 50% usage in long time in China's N fertilizer was not only waste of fertilizer ,but also the serious water pollution and destroying Ozone layer in space. Inducing the lose of fertilizer and increasing its usage would be benefit not only to the increasing of profit, but also with important meaning for the protection of environment Turf is artificial vegetation with much fertilizer and water in cities and closely related with the living quality of city people. However, these were important about scientifically fertilizer and city pollution , this not only deduced the wasted of water and fertilizer and city pollution ,but also reducing the turf management in China. This study was conducted with urea as fast effecting fertilizer and BASF as control-release fertilizer, randomly designed into determine the effect of different ratio fertilizer of these two on the turf quality of kentuckybluegrass (Poa protensis L.)and the usage environment protection of city turf. Five treatment in the experiment were :A-100%U; B-U: S=1:1 ; C-U :S=1:2 ; D-U:S=1:3; E-100%H â… Different ratio of fertilizing on establishment speed of turf was different . U would accelerate the turf establishment speed â…¡Effect of different ratio of fertilizer on the turf quality was different. (1)higher chlorophy content , dark blue color and long green time of one year one year wass founded in all S treatment and. (2) there were slower growth rate of turf in all S and there for slow cutting. (3) there were larger biomass of underground root of in all S treatment ,and hence the plant was stronger.(4) More cutting and high density were found in all S treatment ;(5) Higher homogeneity of turf was found in all treatment and that means the soil nutrition releasing was uniform;(6) "brown spot"leaf disease in all S treatment and it showed health turf could be gained from all above ,S treatment could make better quality turf â…¢The effect of different ratio of fertilizer on the volatizing rate of N volatilization was gound in all S treatment, E(100%S) was lest and U and S treatment ere in the middle between A and E.(2) there were higher N content of turf grass tissue in all treatment and the highest was in the D (U:S=1:3), therefore S treatment might save the lose of N , accumulate tissue N and increase the usage of fertilizer â…£There was no difference in soil PH been found among the all treatment. It was found that soil PH changed with season and has an trend to be lower gradually from the year beginning to the end 4 N using ratio is different in different fertilizer. Losing N is the lowest in control-release fertilizer. Using N is the highest in urea. losing N of mixed fertilizer between urea and control-fertilizer.
