Silage Corn is a new type of corn according people'demand. It's yield is high and nutrition is rich. It is a forage of high quality . Under development of animal husbandry, silage has large economic worthy.Through hereditary analysis of major characters of 42 hybrids (Dry matter yield. Height. Ear Seat, Green leaves, the rate of down, Crude protein, ADF, NDF, IVDMD, WSC), the article put forward theoretic foundation for Silage breeding).Same character between hybrids is different, that is to say .hybrids is a main factor which effect characters. We can select Silage Corn of good quality through breeding selection. Dry Matter Yield of EM, Clf EH, BI, DH is higher than others; the percent of Crude Protein of FK, BH, AJ, DK, DI is higher than others; the percent of ADF of BL, EM, BI, GH is lower than others, NDF of BI, EM,BL, BH, GH is lower than others; the percent of IVDMD of BI, GH. BL, DH is higher than others ; the percent of WSC of BH, BJ, GH, BL, DJ is higher than others; Height and Ear Seat of CJ, CM, CK, AM is higher than others; the number of green leaves of BH, BM, BJ, BK is more than others, the rate of dowm of most hybrids, is lower,and that oftwenty six hybrids is zero.The variance of GCA of ten charaters is remarkable, that is to say the ten charaters are influenced by additive genes. They can pass on to next generation.B and F have high GCA and SCA in agronomic charater, B, G, A and H have high GCA and SCA in quality character.In the course of collocating hybrids, it is important that at least has one or two inbreds which have high GCA. But the two inbreds which have high GCA can't sure collocate high hybrids. This indicate that "It is hard to slection, it is important to collocate, in Silage Corn breeding". Good inbreds should't collocate good hybrids, but if want to collocate good hybrids,it must need good inbreds.There is a remarkable relevance correlation between agronomic character and quality character . We can select good quality breeds through select agronomic charater. That indicate, we can select quality charater through GCA , or through agronomic charater.The experiment combine investigation in field, and experiment indoors, determine ten characters including agronomic charater and quality charater. The experiment adopt NCâ…¡ design, the whole experiment take two years. It adopts DPS dispose system to dispose data..
