To assess the genetic diversity of Shanxi and Shan'xi provinces Wheat landraces from gliadin aspect, 84 accessions of two provinces were used for gliadin analysis. In addition, the distributions of 1B/1R translocation chromosome in the 84 accessions were analyzed by expressed secalin of GliB11 in Gimsa-C band and gliadin band. It helps to find valuable germplasm and provide theorial foundation for the exploring, collection and effective use of wheat genetic resources in two provinces. Totally 37 bands were separated by A-PAGE, the varia-tion range of genetic distance (GD) among 84 accessions in gliadin level is 0.0000~ 0.5821, mean genetic distsance is 0.3313. The variation range of frequency distribution and diversity index of 37 bands were 0.027%~99.55% and 0.001~0.697, repectively. So there exists extensive genetic variation at coding loci of gliadin among 84 accessions. Clustering results analyzed by UPGMA based on Jaccard genetic similarity (GS) matrix showed that the accessions could be clustered into four groups at the level of GS 0.547. The first group included majority of accessions that have 1B/1R chromosome specific loci. The second group has 47 accessions, and they can be divided into five sub-groups according to their different bands. The third group has 8 accessions and thay were almost belonged to bred cultivars in Linfen. It implicated that there were extensive variation at coding loci of gliadin between accesstions that have 1B/1R chromosome specific loci from bred cultivars of different ecology regions. Jin S-1 and PingLiang 35 belonged to one group because their parents were introduced cultivars that have farther relationship with the other accesstions. 26 accessions that have 1B/1R specific loci were obtained according to the analysis of Gimsa-C band and gliadin band, and it accounts for 30.95% of all the accessions. Among the accessions, Shanxi have 35, and 10 from them have 1B/1R specific loci, which accounts for 28.6%; Shan'xi have 49 and 16 from them have 1B/1R specific loci, which accounts for 32.6%.
