The forest of China degenerates seriously, so the reforestation and rebuilding of the forest become more important. Soil microorganism is a very important fact in the reforestation and rebuilding of the forest ecosystem, and also is one of significant assessment index. Soil microorganisms are the main mediators of C turnover in soil and the microbial biomass represents the important and labile pool and resource. Microbial biomass provides an early indication of slow changes in organic matter content. The dynamic response of soil microorganism to environmental changes makes it a more sensitive index than total organic C for monitoring change. So soil microorganism is one of the hot spot whenever researchers talk about the bio-indicator of the soil quality. To study soil microorganism in different degraded ecosystem in TaiHang Mountain, ten plots were set by the way of time instead of space. There are six different ecosystems in this paper: dedicous broad-leaved forest (Quercus variabilis forest, Robinia pseudoacaica forest), coniferous-broad-leaved forest(Platycladus orientalis and Quercus variabilis mixed forest), coniferous mixed forest(Platycladus orientalis and Pinus tabulaeformis mixed forest), coniferous forest(Platycladus orientalis forest), shrub(Vitex negundo var. haterophylla, Cotinus coggyria Scop), and bare land. The main results revealed as the following:He numbers of bacteria, antinomy, and fungi and their percentage in total numbers were different in different degraded ecosystem: the amount of bacteria is highest, the secondary is antinomy, and the last is fungi. At the same time, soil microorganism decreased with increasing soil depth.2) Soil microbial biomass was significantly different in different degraded ecosystem. The six degraded ecosystem followed the order of dedicous broad-leaved forest> shrub > coniferous mixed forest>coniferous-broad-leaved forest > coniferous forest >bare land. Soil microbial biomass also decreased with increasing soil death and was sienificantlv different in different ecosystem.3 ) Rate of respiration of soil microbe was significantly different in different degraded ecosystem. It followed the order of shrub > dedicous broad-leaved forest> coniferous-broad-leaved forest> coniferous forest> coniferous mixed forest>bare land.There were some results have been found in our research in TanHang Mountain area: soil microorganism in different degraded ecosystem occurs obvious change along with the degeneration of ecosystem.
