Based on the 203 F2:3 families of the hybrid ND108 in maize, a genetic linkage map contains 2588.9cM with 179 SSR markers was constructed, the interval distance was 14.5cM.The F2:3 populations were evaluated in the farmer of Henan Agricultural Uuniversity and Xinzheng county with the randomized complete block design and two replications. The traits including ear length, ear diameter, axial width, row number, kernals per row, weight per hundred grains, ear weight, grain weight and the variety of plant height and chlorophyll content in different periods were investigated.QTLs were analyzed by composite interval mapping. The results were as following:1. At two locations (Zhengzhou and Xinzheng), 16 QTLs were detected for 8 traits, locoted on all chromosomes except chromosome 7 and 9. The QTLs GW1 和 EW1 for ear weight and grain weight were detected on chromosome 1, There were the common QTLs and the QTLs Ed2-1 and Ed2-2 were identified for ear diameter on chromosome 2.They were also the common QTLs.2. The results of QTL mapping for maize plant height was showed that there were 9 different QTLs located on three chromosomes in the 4 different periods. Based on the analysis of the measured data, 7 QTLs were found in all period except for 1st August and accounted for 6.40% to 16.22%. No same QTL was detected in different periods; Based on the conditional value,2 QTLs with a little different effects were detected in different developing periods, which showed that the expression of QTL controlling plant height varied with the developing periods.The result implys that different QTLs controlling plant height expresses in different stage.3. QTL mapping and analysis of chlorophyll content have been made in the different periods, 10 QTLs were detected. In this investigation, using the measured data , chlorophyll content in leaf was measured. The results showed that 7 QTLs were detected for chorophyll content, which mainly distributed on chromosome 4 and chromosome 5,the interval of umcl288-umcl757 was detected by the value measured in both 17th July and 26th August on chromosome 4, their effects with a little bit different. But there were the common QTLs.This means that the expression of the same QTLcontrolling chorophyll content is different in different developing period.
