The Study Of Forestry Resource Survey Application System Based On Embedded GIS

The purpose of the paper is to develop an application system based on PDA with the model of Embedded GIS. The paper based on the demand and characteristic of forestry resource survey has implemented the data collection of forestry resource spatial and attribute data, also carried out the orientation and navigation with ArcPad,consequently the paper arrives at the target of no paper of forestry resource survey with high precision,low cost and much efficiency. First, the paper introduces the status quo and way of forestry resource survey and analyses the status quo,background, characteristics and application of embedded Geographic information system and provides the technical foundation for application system; Second, the paper system has designed from system analysis,system design,database design and user interface design,which prepare for the system develop.Third,the paper implements some function by the design.
