Comparing Study Of The Analytical Methods For Olaquidox In The Animal Feeds

With the development of economy, people pay more attention to health and safety foods. Many governments and communities make policies to restrict the use of antibacterial drugs in animal feeds. Olaquidox is restricted in fish and chicken feeds. In order to improve the analytical accuracy of olaquidox content in the animal feeds, it is necessary to modify the present method.In this study, we modified the method of [1997] NO.17. The modification of the method is as follows: the wavelength decreased from 368nm to 270nm, the concentration of methanol in the flow phase reduced from 40% to 15%, and reduced from 40% to 5% in the extraction liquids. Meanwhile, K2CO3 was added into the sample before extraction.Results showed that the new method could improve the separation of the target and the restore ratio of the standard olaquidox, the chromatogram was clear. The restore ratio of olaquidox increased from 87.635% to 96.61%. So the new method could regard as reference for the assay of olaquidox.
