We have done the Bio-toilet experiment with sawdust as matrix instead of (wood) fortwo years after importing Bio-toilet from Japan in 2002.Now we have obtained some primarydevelopment and we can approve that sawdust may be used in the Bio-toilet as matrix insteadof wood. The task of this experiment is that we use the remains of Bio-toilet as fertilizer toplant cole and study the effect of remain to cole as fertilizer .The aim of the experiment is toprove that remains of Bio-toilet can be a kind of harmless resource. The experiment adopted measure of cole potted plant and setted four disposals and onecomparison to deal with First, 200g remains+ 2.5kg soil;Second,100g remains+2.5kg soil;Third, 50g remains+2.5kg soil;Fourth,25g+2.5kg soil;Comparison,2.5kg soil;We fetchedsamples of soil to analyzed organic,N,P,K and so on every seven days. At the same time wealso analyzed biomass, chlorophyll of cole. According to the analysis,we studied the effect ofremains to soil nutrient and growth of cole. The result indicated:(1)he variety of NO3-N and NH4-N in the soil of the odd-come-short processing was inaccordance with the the rise and fall the trend basically, the variety range compared greatly,and each handle there was no regulation to be look for. But the odd-come-short use canpromote rape to nitrogen absorption of the vegetable, and be advantageous to the soil , whichcan disease migration conversion of the nitrogen vegetable. (2)In the soil which was within each processing develop after 8 weeks, the content anddevelopments of the valid phosphorus , potassium, organic quality comparing before in thesoil, handle 1, handle 2, handle 3, handle 4 increased the high multiple with matched controlone by one in order:Valid phosphorus is 5.707, 2.484, 1.273, 1.056 and 0.584 times;Validpotassium is 3.454,2.018,1.707,1.315 and 1.042 times;Organic quality is2.885,1.803,1.598,1.274 and 0.994 times.(3)Eight weeks later, the cole biomass of series 1 increased 502.90% compared withcomparison;series 2 increased 194.20%;series 3 increased178.26%;series 4 increased60.86%.Therefore, the remains can help the accumulation of effective nutrition and organic insoil. Otherwise, the remains can help the increase of cole biomass. So the remains as fertilizercan bring very good effective.
