The landscape patterns, patch characteristics, environmental factors of ground bryophytes under primary forests in the upper reaches of Dadu River were investigated and analyzed in order to expound landscape patterns and patch characteristics in micro scale, and find out the relationship between the bryophyte and environment factors. The main results may be clarified as follow: I. Plot in Sanzhigou 1. Ground bryophytes cover was lower than average, the development state is not good, it was typical patchily pattern. Nine kinds of bryophyte patches were found; the Patch (Thuidium Cymbifolium) and Patch (Actinothuidium hookeri) were dominant patches. 2. Besides Patch (Thuidium hookieri), the others types of patch were clump distributed pattern, there was certain difference in clump degree among them. 3. The heterogeneity level of microenvironment conditions under the forest was high, the number of bryophyte patch was numerous, which means the fragmentation level was high. Herb cover and arbor cover maybe the main factors influenced patch size and patch shape, and the arbor cover maybe influenced quality of the patch. 4. The relationship between patch size,patch shape and bryophytes synusia characteristics such as thickness, cover, species number, II. Plot in Shizhigou 1. Ground bryophytes cover was big, the bryophytes development state was very good, it was typical patchily pattern. Five primary kinds of bryophyte patches were found; there was not obviously dominant patch type under primary forest. The differences of bryophytes synusia characteristics among five types of patch were significant, and the factors influence patch characteristics is various. In a word, the air temperature was the most factor influence the patch characteristics, and the air humidity, sunshine intensity, and above plant covers also influence patch characteristics. 2. Through ONE-Way ANOVA and regression analysis, the main factors were found that influenced patch characteristics. Different patch type had different influence factors, and the difference was result in biological characteristics and ecological feature of different bryophytes species.
