3 out of the 182 endophytic bacteria isolates selected from healthy fruits and leaves of 10 grape cultivars, named WX1, WX5, WX9, respectively, were found to promote germinative or rooting ability of grape cutting, increase yield, improve gain quality, and prevent downy mildew in the field. The yield-increasing effect of strain WX9 was the most significant.Research on colonization of the three strains showed that the target stains could colonize roots and leaf tissues inoculated by soaking grape cuttings. The number of stain WX9 colonizing was the most. Content of indole acetic acid in grape increased after the inoculation of the three stains, and resulted in the yield-increasing. The enhanced activity of peroxidase and polyphenol oxidase after the inoculation of the three stains indicated the three stains could induce the enzymes correlated to the resistance. The strain WX9 obtained showed significant yield-increasing effect and rapid colonization, increasing content of indole acetic acid in grape, and inducing the enzymes correlated to the resistance. So it can be researched as yield-increasing endophytic strain to improve crop productivity of grape.
