Taxonomic Studies On Soil Dematiaceous Hyphomycetes From North Of North China

North of North China span temperate zone, cold temperate zone, soil types and vegetation types are abundant, soil as a complex ecosystem, may contain plenty of fungi resource. This study focuses on investigating this group fungi in the north of North China, and intend to discover more species and genera then enrich the species diversity of China.This study is supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), then it can go with a swing. We selected representative sites in Inner Mongolia, Shanxi, North of Hebei from 2003-2005, collected approximately 340 soil samples. We get more than 800 isolates from those soil samples. The main isolation methods are soil plate methods and dilution plate methods. Based on careful identification, we discoved 102 species included in 41 genera of dematiaceous hyphomycetes.Among them, 4 taxa are new to China, they are Alternaria grasslandensis Y. M.Wu &T. Y. Zhang; Fusariella helanshanensis Y. M. Wu & T.Y. Zhang; Monodictys aershanensis Y. M. Wu & T .Y. Zhang; Scolecobasidium tuberculatum Y. M. Wu & T .Y. Zhang.27 species are newly recorded to China, i.e. Arthrinium sacchari(Speg.)M. B. Ellis;Bipolaris indica Rai, Wadhwani & Tewari;Chaetospina fulva Rambelli;Chrysosporium fastidium Pitt T. Matsushima &H. Asahina; Cordana pauciseptata Preuss ; Cordana oblongispora Matsushima ;Doratomyces columnaris H. J. Swart;Exserohilun pedicellatum (Henry)Leonard &Suggs ; Fusariella obstipa (Pollack) Hughes ; Graphium penicillioides Corda;Humicola brevis Gilman et Abbott;Leptographium lundbergii Lagerberg & Melin;Memnoiella subsimplex(Cooke)Deighton;Monodictys asperospera(Cooke & Massee) M.
