The Study On Immunocompetence Of Sheep Placenta Peptide

Sheep placenta peptide (SPP) prepared by biochemistry techeniques and engineering methods(sonication with high pressure and low temperature ) is an active biological agent with the characteristics of dialyzable and ultrafiltrationable.This new immune-modulator improves both specific and non-specific immunity significantly.Influence of sheep placenta peptiele on immunity function of mice was tested in this paper.A significant strength of mononuclear-macrophage phagocytic function was testified at high,normal and low dosages of SPP by using of carbon.A similar enhancement of anti-sheep red blood cell hemolysin was achieved in mice at different doses of SPP by use of serum hemolysin test.The detection of CD4,CD8 by means of cytometry technology showed that the influence of SPP on surface antigen of T Iymphocytes were obvious.Therefore,the sheep placenta peptide potential immune function by enhancing non-specific immune defense,and stimulating both cell and humoral immune responses.
