The paper focused on the study of effects of goat Placenta Immunomodulatory Factor(PIF). Administrated with three different PIF doses (12.5 mg/kg, 25 mg/kg, 50 mg/kg, ip) for 7 d, the immunity of mice administrated with CY was significantly enhanced. The results indicated: all three doses increased the indexes of immune organs; the doses of 25 mg/kg and 50 mg/kg elevated the comeback of total number of leucocytes; the three doses also increased the carbon clearance rate of macrophages; all of them promoted the secretion of serum hemolysin; the doses of 12.5 mg/kg, 25 mg/kg enhanced the degree of DTH mediated by T cell; and the doses of 12.5 mg/kg, 25 mg/kg promoted the proliferation of T cell stimulated by ConA. It was demonstrated in vitro experiments that PIF and its two-time dilutions suppressed the proliferation of lymphocytes whether single or together with ConA with MTT assay and 3H-TdR assay.
