By using high-pressure treatment, germination of wheat seed and growth of wheat seedling were restrained partially, and the inhibition relates with weight and time of pressure. Induced-inhibition by pressure increases continually with increasing of pressure. Changes on activity of amylase are as phenomena on growth of wheat seedling; activity of peroxidase of wheat seedling was analyzed at 20 day growth, and results demonstrated that activity of peroxidase of all of treatments is better than the control. By low temperature treatment on wheat seedling, proline content does not change obviously; to indicate cold-resistant capability does not changes visibly by pressure treatment. To verify if activity ofα-amylase of wheat seedling changes immediately by high pressure, pureα-amylase were treated by high pressure, and were analyzed by activity ofα-amylase and circular dichroism spectrum, demonstrated activity ofα-amylase of wheat seedling by high pressure changes indirectly.Wheat seeds were treated by different high pressure and kept for the same time. We found that the high pressure affect seedling rate and germination rate of the wheat seed obviously. After treated by pressure, the seedling rate and germination rate decreased considerably with pressure increasing. Young plant which were treated by high pressure growth slowly compare with the normal one. Though the study of chlorophylls, protein, POD, SOD, we found more affect of high pressure. The chlorophylls didn't have obviously change at high pressure. But the protein and SOD were changed at...
