The benefits of Tongxian no.l was behaved in three aspects: Firstly, the output had an all-sided improvement, produced fresh pods 1127.99-1189. 33kg/667m~2, fresh straws 3339.0kg, dry seeds 230.1-234.64kg, dry straws 831.0kg. Secondly, the standard of the good was high, the rate of heterochromatic seeds was only 0. 68%, the fresh weight of single pod was 16.892g, fresh seed hundred-seed weight was 472.4g. Thirdly, main product and by-product were both valuable.
