6 serum protein(or enzyme)loci and 10 microsatellite loci were used to research the genetic diversities of 50 Xingyi yellow chicken, 50 spotted-brown chicken, 50 black dwarf chicken, and 50 Yellow dwarf chicken of 100 days. The results showed that:(1) There were polymorphisms at the Alb, Tf, Amy-1, ES-1, ES-2 in 4 strains(or clusters). But at Pa locus, the polymorphisms were detected in 3 Xingyi strains(or clusters), not in the Yellow dwarf chicken. There were 2-3 alleles at these loci.(2) 71 alleles were detected at 10 microsatellite loci among 4 chicken strains(or clusters). There were 5-10 alleles at every locus, the average is 7.100. The range of the alleles frequencies was 0.0100 — 0.8085. The f and g allele at ADL0201 locus and the e allele at ADL0210 was only discovered in the Yellow dwarf chicken. But the a allele at MCW0294 locus and the f allele at MCW0104 locus was found among all the Xingyi colony, not in the Yellow dwarf chicken.(3) There were abundant genetic diversities in all the 4 strains(or clusters). Especially in each Xingyi strain(or cluster), though they were selected, there are big choice space in all the strains(or clusters).(4) The same dendrogram was got though the two examination technics. The study enriched the gene pool of our local chicken breeds. At the same time, it provides molecule base to preserve and explore the dwarf chicken.
