The tea is one of important industrial crops in south China, which has glorious cultivation history and widespread distribution. As the most ancient tea-growing region in China, the tea-growing region of Southwest belongs to suitable area in delimiting ecology suitable area. As for the research of tea resist-drought in china, the certain research achievement has been attained, but it is also relatively backward compared to other industrial crops. On the various indexs research in the physiological and biochemical change under drought stress, the index selection is sole and disperse, so there are hardly systematic research reports. Until now, the effective indexs have not been got to supply the reference for the tea resist drought appraisal. Appraisal of tea resist -drought, which is the judgment Proof to tea variety, is lack of scientific accuracy. Therefore, the research on systematic . resist-drought of tea is important to tea cultivation and the production in china. In this paper, seven tea varieties (Nanjianerhao tea, Minshanzao tea, Sichuanzhongxiaoye tea, Shuyongerhao tea, Yuchaerhao tea, Shuyong703 tea and Yunnandayezhong tea), which are cultivated varieties of Chongqing belonged to southwest china tea-growing region, have been selected as the experimental materials. By drought stress processing by the natural drought weather and recording in the different time, the research on the tea resist-drought mechanism has been carried on. water content and activity of superoxide dismutase(SOD), peroxidase(POD), Vc, and quantity of ·OH in the mature leaf under the bud are measured respective; and also the changes of relative electronic conductivity and content of soluble proline(Pro), melondiadehyde(MDA), soluble protein, chlorophyll and soluble sugar in the mature leaf under the bud are measured. According to data, mathematical statistic analysis, such as the correlation analysis and fuzzy function have been conducted to get change rule of various targets under drought stress, relevance within various indexs, relevance between various indexs and tea resist- drought, as well as the resist- drought difference within various varieties. The main results are as following:1. Under the drought stress, the average leaf water content in 7 experimental tea cultivars under drought stress turns down step by step. Compared with the CK, the average leaf water content decreases 11.6% in leaf under the bud, the decreases are significantly different (p<0.05).2. The changes of activity of SOD have a trend of first increase and following decrease. The...
