Consider any undesirable plant in turf to be a weed. Extremely competitive weeds can despoil water, fertilizer, light and space from turfgrass, that induces the tufrgrass degradation.The weeds influence the sight and are the intermedia for the insects and diseases spreading.The weeds is one of the major facters that induce the tufrgrass degradation.According Li Shan-lin' report, in China there are about 450 species weeds,belong to 45 Families 127 families.thereinto the major weeds are 60 speces.At preseat, the major methods to control weeds is to clear it by hand,which is higher cost, lower effection.And trere is no effective to the underground part of the perennial weeds.Clearing weeds by derbicides is a efficient way to control weeds.In this research, we studied the regularity of the weeds appearance on Zoysia japonica turf in Beibei District of Chongqing,and studied the application of derbicides on the turf.Results are as follows:1.The weeds on Zoysia japonica turf in Beibei District of ChongqingThe weeds on Zoysia japonica turf in North Hot Spring Park and southwest univesity (including southwest agricultural university and southwest normal university formerly) in Beibei District of Chongqing were sorted out and the regularity of their appearance were studied based on the investigation in 2005. The results show that the 56 common species of turf weeds can be grouped into 24 families. Among them. Asteraceae has 14 species that is 25% of the total species, is the largest family. Gramineae Includes 8 species , that is 14.29% of the total species, is the secondly largest Family. Amaranthacae and Brassicaceae have 3 species each Family. Cytinaceae, Labiatae., Apiaceae, Polygonaceae. Scrophulariaceae, Oxalidaceae, Solanaceae, Cannabaceae have 2 species each Family. Rosaceae, Moraceae, Plantaginaceae, Chenopodiaceae , Convolvulaceae, Vitaceae , Ranunculaceae , Caryophyllaceae , Rubiaceae , Commelinaceae, Malvaceae , Liliaceae have 1 specey each Family.
