Water shortage is a key element with serious impact on our economic development, especially in this situation even grimmer. Along with the rapid socio-economic development, water demand of all areas is growing. Currently exploitation and utilization of surface water, groundwater and natural precipitation and other accessible water resources has been far from meeting the daily needs. It is a pressing task to exploit and utilize new fresh water resources.In this paper, depended on Shanxi water scientific research item in 2003 of- "Study on the supplying groundwater resources through floodwater irrigation", taking Datong Yuhe valley as research area, flood samples in different time-interval of each piece of flood in 2004 and 2005 as subject investigated, and through the indoor test, sediment concentration, nutrient and total salt content of each sample has been measured and compared; basic characters and varying rule of floodwater sediment has been analysed systematically and roundly; the varying rule of nutrient (nitrogen, phosphorus, kalium ,organic )and total salt in floodwater has been explored, economy returns of replenishing groundwater through floodwater irrigation has been elementarily evaluated; water table has been termly monitored all year in the...
