Studies On Floodwater Irrigation And Water-saving Irrigation Matching Modes

In this paper,it was analyzed and discussed that modes of the floodwater irrigation match that of the water-saving irrigation in the project area locating the south of the Taklimakan Desert.At first,the water resource and fruit trees' characteristics in the project area were investigated in detail.The work focused on the analysis of the use of floodwater and groundwater,and the law of water requirements of fruit trees.Secondly,the irrigation with small tubes and surge flow irrigation were selected by analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of irrigation modes,as well as the specific circumstances of the project area. Using the direct correlation method,the economy benefits of irrigation with small tubes and surge flow irrigation were calculated in contrast with furrow irrigation.The analysis shown that flood season period is exactly fruit tree's water demand greatest time,and water-saving irrigation matches in the time tallies.The irrigation with small tubes and surge flow irrigation were choosed according to well watersaving effect and lower water quality requirement.In irrigation with small tubes project,the original pond was rebuild to a precipitator to purify irrigation water,the scale is length×width×depth=45m×3.3m×1.85m.The pump was choosen according to the most disadvantaged irrigation groups,the flux is 126m~3/h and pump head is 52.3m.The investment and operating costs of irrigation with small tubes are higher than surge flow irrigation,but the ENPY of irrigation with small tubes is bigger than surge flow irrigation, and that economic efficiency expense ratio is bigger also.In the project area for floodwater irrigation the irrigation with small tubes is the the best choice.
