Influences Of Appliation With Different Nitrogen Compounds On Growth And Quality Of Abrus Cantoniensis

Abrus cantoniensis is a Chinese traditional medicinal drug in south of china. Its officinal part is the whole plant except legumes. Four nitrogen compounds including CO(NH₂)₂,NH₄HCO₃,NaNO₃ and NH₄NO₃ were chosen to study the influences on the agricultural characters, physiological metabolism, officinal component in potted and field experiments. The main results showed as follows: 1 Different nitrogen compounds had different promotional function for the nutrient growth of Abrus cantoniensis. In potted experiment, the ramification quantities of all nitrogen compounds treatments were fewer than control, but the NH₄HCO₃ treatment was the most among four nitrogen compounds, and there were no differentia in other three treatments. The height of plant of all treatments were higher than control, but no differentia among them. In field experiment, the ramification quantities were almost same in all treatments; the NH₄NO₃ treatment was the highest one and no differentia in other treatments.
