Tea is the main industrial crop of tropical and subtropical area. Besides the variety of tea tree, culture administrative skill and condition of the climate, etc.that influenced the quality of the tea; it has a certain close relation with the geological background (the rock, soil) in the tea garden. It is important to investigate and probe into the relation between the two to guiding the tea garden planning and applying fertilizer. This text takes Rizhao of Shandong as an example, launched the research of the dependence with soil quality to the tea tree planting.Tea planting is one of characteristic industry in Rizhao. Alought the history is short; it is well received by the people with its excellent quality and unique flavor. The tea planting has already become the new-type important economic industry of Rizhao, at the same time rizhao became the largest green tea production base of north of the Changjiang River too. This text comments the progress that the tea tree is planted both at home and abroad at first, has offered a theory and method background for research of the thesis, then in this frame, combining Rizhao concrete planting terms analyse the suitable of the tea planting and the change of soil quality to Rizhao.Go on comprehensive geological Survey at 1:5 to the tea planting area in rizhao, confirm hte mainland layer, constructs, magmatic rock distributing and soil type etc., take a sample and analyse the content of relevant elements in the rock, soil and groundwater, making investigations of the background of and planting area as to the miniature ground form, humidity and climate, etc.According to massif, region, river system, tea tree, divided the study area as six planting areas into to study, Xiazhuang, Lanshan, Jufeng, Chentuan, Heshan and Chaohe. Use geology, agrology, geomorphology, ecology and other scientific method and theory, making investigations the rock, soil, groundwater and ground form characteristic of the tea planting area...
