Studies On Cephenemyia Trompe In Biological Characteristics And Its Effect On Antioxidant Ability

This paper mainly studys on the Biological Characteristics of Cephenemyia trompe and larvae of different stages and Cephenemyia trompe larvae disease affected the anti-oxidant ablity in reindeer, The results are as follows:Cephenemyia trompe infected reindeer and laid the first stage larvae of C. trompe(L1) in nasal cavity or around nasal cavity of reindeer from June to September every year, The the first stage larvae of C. trompe come into nasal cavity of C. trompe by creepage of oral hook and arthromere, then they lived in the nasal cavity for 5~7 months,and developped into the second stage larvae of C. trompe(L2) from February to March, later they developped into the third stage larvae of C. trompe(L3) from April to June.During this stage,the larvae of Cephenemyia trompe were discharged by sneezing.After dropped onto the land, they begain to pupate, and the rate of turning into pupation is 2.6%,61.5%,35.9% and 18.0%,7.4%,24.6% of the third stage larvae of C. trompe respectively fininshed turning color from white into orange red, at last it became black in anatomy group and normal group during 0～12h,12～48h, and 48h later.The depth of the pupa location in the soil is 0～5cm, 5～8cm, some are deeper than 9cm. The percentage of which are 56.4%,30.7%,12.8% and 55.7%,34.4%,2.9% in anatomy group and normal group respectively.The percentage of the amount of horizontal, vertical and sideling in the pupation posture is 23.1%,43.6%,33.3% and 23.0%,52.5%,24.5% in anatomy group and normal group respectively. The rate of pupating is 82% in total. The average time of developping into adult in the third stage larvae of C. trompe is 21～31d. Cephenemyia trompe came out from 1～3 knots in the top of pupa.It took about 170h for Cephenemyia trompe to fly after it came out. The percentage of adult emergence of the third stage is 59.6% in total.The average life-span of female Cephenemyia trompe and male Cephenemyia trompe are 11.2d and 2.4d respectively.Adult Cephenemyia trompe can produce 8～10 times in their life times, and produced 30～80 larvae each time.The ability of total antioxidant and the content of total Superoxide Dismutase in infected reindeer group are significantly lower than that of the contorl group(p<0.01).However, the content of hydroxyl radical in infections reindeer group is higher than the control group.There is not difference among the ability in total antioxidant ,the content of total Superoxide Dismutase and the content of hydroxyl...
