Nei Tian Kang 203, a sugar beet variety resistance to Rhizomania, was selected and bred in serious Rhizomania field using intensification selection method. Its stability and adaptability;the relationships among tuberous root weight and sugar content ratio, green head ratio;quality characters were overall evaluated using quantitative genetics , fuzzy mathematics , statistics , physiological strategies. The results showed: 1. Strengthen selection method repeated in serious Rhizomania field was feasible and credible.2. The regression coefficient between tuberous root yield of Nei Tian Kang 203 and environmental index b=1.0151, S~2d=0.0682;the regression coefficients of environmental index and sugar content ratio/sugar yield b=0.9869, 0.9901, S~2d = 0.0053 , 0.0520 respectively. So, Nei Tian Kang 203 is a good variety with better stability and adapts. 3. The single root weight of Nei Tian Kang 203, if smaller than 558.5g, was positive correlation with sugar content ratio;if bigger than 558.5g, was negative correlation with sugar content ratio;if smaller than 652.1g, the single root weight was positive correlation with green head ratio, vice versa. 4. Soluble sugar content and proteinic nitrogen content of Nei Tian Kang 203 were all higher than susceptible variety in each growth period whatever planted in Rhizomania field or non-Rhizomania field;soluble nitrogen content was lower than susceptible varieties;potassium , sodium and ammoniacal nitrogen content of tuberous were lower than susceptible varieties in harvest stage, but sucrose, tuberous yield, sugar content ratio and sugar yield were higher than susceptible varieties.
