Vitis adenoclada Hand.-Mazz is one of the specific wild Vitis resources of China, which widely distribute in the areas out of the south of Yangtze River, such as Guangxi, Hunan, Jiangxi and so on. Taking these perennial wild grapes growing in the teaching base of Hunan Agriculture University for materials, phenological phases and biological characteristics were observed. Meanwhile, using natural identification in the field, the general resistance of V.adenoclada Hand.-Mazz to downy mildew and other two diseases was researched. Also, we studied the phylogenetic relationship among V.adenoclada Hand.-Mazz and several other wild grape species and cultivars by utilizing RAPD marker and clustering analysis. The main results are as below:1.V.adenoclada Hand.-Mazz includes three types: hermaphrodite flower type, female flower type and male flower type. That the twigs have tentacles is their primary character. They are extremely alike in morphological structure. And the only difference is that they have different flower organ and whether it has fruit or not.2.The phenological phases of three types of V.adenoclada Hand.-Mazz are basically consistent. In Changsha city of Hunan province, it buds on mid-Apr, starts to bloom on early and mid-Jun, and fruit mature on late-Sept. From mid-Nov to early-Dec, it's the time of defoliation.3.In the natural conditions of field, leaves of V.adenoclada Hand.-Mazz are immune to Sphaceloma ampelinum de Bary and anthracnose, and they have high resistance to downy mildew. Fruits are immune to Sphaceloma ampelinum de Bary and have very high resistance to anthracnose.4.Using sixteen primers which were selected from forty-five primers for the RAPD amplification of all materials, one hundred and twenty-six...
