with the rapid development of beef cattle production in Guizhou province, reasonable feed formula which can better satisfy the beef cattle nutrition needs is one of the key points of beef production. Based on the productive condition of beef cattle and the features of native cattle feed resources in Guizhou, using object-oriented and visual basic programming technology, making the knowledge and experience of experts systematization, the study develops the feed resources usage and feed formula system of beef cattle in Guizhou. From the points of beef cattle nutrition and breeding management, this system set up table of commonly used feed nutrient value , established feed nutrient value database and nutrition needs of beef cattle, coordinated the technology regulations of usage of feed resources in Guizhou, developed the scientific beef cattle feed formula software.According to "Chinese Beef cattle Raising Standard", commonly used feed nutritional value table of beef cattle in Guizhou was established by same method.
