Coptis chinensis Franch has the physiological character that adaptes well to cool, wetness and shady. Climate and siol have distinct effect on growth and quality of biologic medicine of Coptis chinensis Franch. Now there has been some reports about pharmacology, planting and biology of Coptis chinensis Franch,but faw reports on the systematic study about the influence of temperature stress on physiological -biochemical character of different growth period Coptis chinensis Franch.The thesis studied the influence of temperature stress upon the physiological - biochemical character.To study the physiological-biochemical effects of temperature stress on Coptis chinensis Franch, different growth period Coptis chinensis Franch were selected as experimental materical.We conducted study ,in laboratory ,tbe seedlings were exposed to simulated low temperature or high temperature stress which were artificially controlled. Studied the photosynthesis .damage of cell membrance and osmoregulation of seedlings' leaves ,and analyzed some ecophysiological index including MDA, electrolytic permeability .activities of SOD, POD, the rate of cleaning out of O2-and producing OH· . and contents of soluble sugars .proteins and free proline in the leaves and roots. Their variations with time were determined and analyzed in order to explore the phisyological-biochemical response of different growth period Coptis chinensis Franch to temperature stress.Under temperature stress .the injury of membrane caused by membrane lipid peroxidation could occur in different growth period Coptis chinensis Franch ,even though it was not serious lipid peroxidation damaged the structure and function of cell membrane ,and resulted in the increase in membrane electric conductivity .membrane permeability and electrolye leakage .At the same time , taking the activities of SOD, POD and content of MDA(which was the product of membrane lipid peroxidation)and the rate of cleaning out of O2- and producing OH· into account.it could be...
