The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of Chinese Herbal Compoundsgallnut, on the treatment of bacterial septicemia of fish, and find the material basis for the efficacy of the treatment The experiment consists of four parts.1 The study of preferred extracting conditions of the genera] active ingredients of Chinese compound medicine gallnutAdopted stepwise comparation and the orthogonal test, the best extraction process of gallic acid from Chinese Herbal Compounds gallnut was chosen . We compared the influence of two solution and two extraction methods .alcohol and sour resolve, on the content of gallic acid of the extract, then elicited the best method was using sour ethanol to reflux percolation continuously, Using orthogonal continous reflux percolation method and orthogonal table L9(34) , we discussed the effect of concentration of ethanol degrees of extracting time and amount of solvent to the conent of gallic acid. The results indicated that the order of these factors to the results was time > degrees of extracting > concentration of ethanol > amount of solvent, According to the variance analysis we concluded that the best extraction process A2B3C1D3 : extracted 3 times for 90 min each in 8 times of quantity of ethanol solution with the concentration of 70% and acidity of pH2,gallic acid content to 10.47 2 The analysis of the active ingredients of Chinese Herbal Compounds gallnutThe main ingredients of the total extraction from Chinese Herbal Compounds gallnut was analysed by thin-layer chromatography. This method chooses silica gel GF254 to make the lamina, and confects the liquor for spread with the proportion of benzene.ethanol and formic acid as 7:3:1. Moreover,NH3-FeCl3 is used to colorate. And the result should be observed under sunlight. With the methods that thin-layer chromatography combining column chromatography, the total active ingredient of Chinese Herbal Compounds gallnut were identified. Then the active ingredients, which contain gallic acid, 1,8-2 hydroxy anthraquinone, fiavonoid, aloes fiavonoid, baicaiin, quercetin and tannide, were identified through physical-chemical analysis...
