Rheumtanguticum is traditional Chinese medicine.Modern research has found thatanthraquinone compounds have antitumor effect.This experiment studied the effectsof ethanol extract of different altitude of qinghai province Rheum tanguticum onGLC-82cellsObjective:To study the effects of ethanol extract of different altitude of qinghaiprovince Rheum tanguticum on GLC-82cellsMethods: MTT assay was applied to determine the cell proliferation of GLC-82cellsafter treated with different concentrations for different time durations (24,48and72h).The influence of the extract on cell apoptasis was researched with Annexin Vï¼FITC/PI kit and flow cytometry.Results:The FCM analysis showed that lower concentrations of the extract causedcell apoptosis early and there is no significant difference between the two groups.With the increasing of drug concentration,tumor cells appear late apoptosis andnecrosis.Conclusion:The quantity of late apoptosis and necrosis cells of elevation4500meters Rheum tanguticum ethanol extract group is obviously higher than that of the elevation3200meters group.
