Objective:To observe the curative effect of Jia-Wei-Sheng-Xian-Tang to treat patients with miscellaneous diseases in Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome. To evaluate the effect that Jia-Wei-Sheng-Xian-Tang ascend and promote the qi and circulate the blood and remove the blood stasis. To clarify the indications of Jia-Wei-Sheng-Xian-Tang, at the same time to provide a new way of treating different diseases with same method. Methods:In this self-control study, the 81 patients with Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome were divided into 5 groups according to the different diseases:24 cases of diabetes group,20 cases of gall disease group,13 cases of renal diseases group,10 cases of pain diseases group, and 14 cases of other diseases group. All cases were given Jia-Wei-Sheng-Xian-Tang for 4 weeks as a course of treatment. To observe the blood routine, liver and kidney function, TCM syndrome, and clinical symptoms pre and post the course of treatment. After the observation, analyze the data and do the statistics with SPSS.Results:①Among the 81 patients, no one’s TCM Syndromes integral showed recovery,17 cases’showed excellence,64 cases’showed validness, and 0 cases’showed invalidity after the treatment. The total effective rate was 100%.②All the 81 patients’TCM Syndromes integral reduced after the treatment, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The TCM Syndromes integral of patients of each groups reduced after the treatment, and the difference was statistically significant (P<.05). The difference of the integral between pre and post treatment had a statistically significant difference among the 5 groups (P<0.05). The order of the difference of the integral was gall disease group> diabetes group> other diseases group> pain diseases group) renal diseases group. It showed that the curative effect was better in gall disease group than in the other groups.③We divided the TCM syndrome to 8 parts:Qi deficiency syndrome, blood stasis syndrome, blood deficiency syndrome, Yin deficiency syndrome, Yang deficiency syndrome, turbid dampness, damp-heat syndrome and liver stagnation syndrome. The integrals of each of the 8 syndromes of all patients reduced after the treatment, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). There were statistically significant differences of the integrals of each 8 syndromes of each 5 groups between pre and post treatment (P<0.05). It meant that the each syndrome’s integral reduced after treatment, especially Qi deficiency syndrome and Yin deficiency syndrome. There were statistically significant differences of the integral of Qi deficiency syndrome of each 5 groups between statistically significant differences (P<0.05), and the sequence was diabetes group> gall disease group> other diseases group> pain diseases group) renal diseases group. There were statistically significant differences of the integral of Yin deficiency syndrome of each 5 groups between statistically significant differences (P<0.05), and the sequence was diabetes group> gall disease group) renal diseases group> pain diseases group> other diseases group. It showed that there was most significant curative effect of Qi deficiency syndrome and Yin deficiency syndrome in diabetes.④By counting the integral of the symptoms of Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome separately, the symptom integral (shortness of breath, poor spirit, fatigue, sweating, laziness to speak, pale and fat tongue, thin pulse, limb pain, numbness of limbs, choroid blood stasis, squamous and dry skin, dysmenorrhea with black blood clots, forgetful, and dark purple tongue with ecchymosis) reduced in all patients after treatment, and differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). There was no statistically significant difference of integral of ecchymosis between pre and post treatment (P>0.05)⑤The fasting blood glucose of diabetes group reduced after treatment, and there was a statistically significant difference between pre and post treatment (P<0.05). There was no statistically significant difference of 2-hour postprandial blood glucose between pre and post treatment (P>0.05). There was no statistically significant difference of the FT3, FT4 and TSH levels of the gall disease group between pre and post treatment (P>0.05). There was no statistically significant difference of the urine protein of the gall disease group between pre and post treatment (P>0.05). There was no statistically significant difference of the safety index of all patients between pre and post treatment (P>0.05).Conclusion:Jia-Wei-Sheng-Xian-Tang can significantly improve the TCM syndrome of patients with Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome, relieve the clinical symptoms, reduce the fasting blood glucose of diabetes patients, and has no obvious side effects. It is worth to be popularized clinically.
