Clinical Study About The Effect Of Jia Wei Xian Jie Tang On Chronic Diarrhea

Objective:To observe the clinical effects of Jia Wei Xian Jie Tang on patients with chronic diarrhea.Methods:60cases of patients with chronic diarrhea (spleen deficiency and liquid stagnation syndrome) from April2011to February2012were selected and divided into two groups randomly (treatment group and control group), and treated with Jia Wei Xian Jie Tang and Chang Kang tablets respectively for four weeks. The curative effect on Chinese medical syndromes, anti-diarrheal onset time and analgesic onset time were observed.Results:The total effective rate of Chinese medical syndromes was92.86%in the treatment group and79.31%in the control group,with a significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05). After tour weeks, significant difference between the two groups of symptom integral comparison was found (P<0.05).There was significant difference between the two groups in anti-diarrheal onset time and analgesic onset time (P<0.01). No side effects showed during the course of treatment.Conclusions:Jia Wei Xian Jie Tang is a safe and effective prescription to the patient with chronic diarrhea.
