Objective:To observe the efficacy and safety of modified Sheng Xian Qu Yu Decoction(SXQY)in treating chronic heart failure(CHF)with qi collapse and blood stasis,so as to provide evidence-based basis for its clinical application. Methods:From May 2018 to February 2019,patients with chronic heart failure who met the diagnostic criteria of qi collapse and blood stasis syndrome were collected in the outpatient and ward of Cardiology Department of the Guang'an men hospital,China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences.60 patients with chronic heart failure(syndrome of qi collapse and blood stasis)were randomly divided into control group(n=30),treated with routine western medicine, and treatment group(n=30),treated with SXQY on the basis of routine western medicine. After 8 weeks of treatment, the scores and efficacy of TCM syndromes,NYHA classification,6-minute walk distance and improvement, plasma NT-ProBNP level, echocardiographic parameters and Minnesota Heart Failure Quality of Life Questionnaire scores were compared between the two groups,as well as blood routine test, urine routine test, stool routine test, liver and kidney function and electrolyte before and after treatment. Finally, the effectiveness and safety of SXQY were evaluated by statistical analysisResults:1.There was no abscission in both groups, and 30 effective cases were collected in each group. There was no significant difference in the baseline data of sex, age, course of disease, types of LVEF,primary disease, complications and combined medication between the two groups,as well as in the observation indexes before treatment(P>0.05),which were comparable.2.The scores of TCM syndromes in the two groups were lower than those before treatment, with statistical significance(P<0.01),and the decline in the treatment group was significantly better than that in the control group(P<0.01);the total effective rate of improvement of TCM syndromes in the treatment group was 93.33%,while that in the control group was 76.67%,with statistical significance(P<0.05).3.The total effective rate of improvement of cardiac function grade in treatment group was 90.00%.and that of the control group was 83.33%,suggesting both groups could improve the cardiac function of patients, but there was no significant difference in the degree of improvement(P>0.05).4.The 6-minute walk distance of the two groups increased significantly compared with that before treatment(P<0.05),and the increased distance of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.05);the total effective rate of the improvement of the 6-minute walking test in the treatment group was 90.00%,and that of the control group was 70.00%The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).5.The plasma NT-ProBNP levels of the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01),but there was no significant difference in the degree of reduction(P>0.05).6.Echocardiographic parameters(LVEF,E/A,SPAP)were improved in both groups, and the improvement of LVEF in treatment group was significantly better than that in control group(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference in the improvement of E/A and SPAP between the two groups(P>0.05).7.The scores of Minnesota Heart Failure Quality of Life Questionnaire in both groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.01),and the decline in the treatment group was significantly better than that in the control group(P<0.05).8.There was no significant difference in blood, urine, stool routine tests, liver and kidney function and electrolyte between the two groups before and after treatment(P>0.05);there were no significant adverse reactions and events during the treatment of the two groups. Conclusions:SXQY can significantly improve the clinical symptoms and quality of life of CHF patients with qi collapse and blood stasis;effectively increase the 6-minute walking distance of patients, improve LVEF and cardiac function of patients;it has no obvious influence on blood, urine, stool routine tests, liver and kidney functions as well as electrolyte of patients, and is safe in clinical application.
