The results showed that the of mixed alcohol and water extraction process get more comprehensive efficacy components, and alcohol-water mixed solvent extraction to obtain higher extract content.Using orthogonal design method to optimized the best alcohol-water extraction process of Tongmai, The result is eight times the amount of55%ethanol solvent reflux extraction three times every2h. And uses the ischemic model of rats to compared process validation, evaluated the optimal process the impact on tongmai prescription of pharmacological effects, It turned out that optimal process is better than Tongmai oral liquid, which Improve animal pathology of cerebral ischemia effect.Research on preparation of new granula of Tongmai. On the basis of optimal process of Tongmai, the granula forming study of by screening which the prepared methods of extractum and the kinds of wetting agents, excipient and corrigent. Results showed that lactose is excipient and stevia is corrigent and60%ethanol as a wetting agent of new granula of Tongmai. Forming is good and properties is stable of the granula been made. The content of each component were higher of granula, indicats that the preparation process is reasonably practicable.
