| Objective:To observe the efficacy of sanfu acupoint application with acupuncture and moxibustion in treating diarrhea-irritable bowel syndrome, wich is belonging to syndrome of spleen-kidney-yang deficiency in traditional Chinese medicine, and providing a new treatment for this disease.Methods:Seventy-two cases of diarrhea-irritable bowel syndrome were randomized into treatment group and control group,36cases in each one. Treatment group were given treatment of sanfu acupoint application with acupuncture and moxibustion, control group were given treatment of acupuncture and moxibustion. The syndrome of Chinese medicine, IBS.SSS and IBS.QOL were for the assessment of patient’s condition.Results:The cure and marked effective rate in treatment group was75.00%,wich was better than22.22%in the control group(P<0.05). By the end of the trial, the syndrome of Chinese medicine score and IBS.SSS score were reduced obviously in the treatment group as compared with those in the control group (P<0.05).Both of the treatment group and the control group can improve patient’s dysphoria, interference with activity, body image, health worry, food avoidance,social reaction and the total score of IBS.QOL(P<0.05),the interference with activity score and health worry score were reduced obviously in the treatment group as compared with those in the control group (P<0.05)Conclusion:The sanfu acupoint application with acupuncture and moxibustion therapy achieves the superior efficacy as compared with the acupuncture and moxibustion in treating diarrhea-irritable bowel syndrome of spleen-kidney-yang deficiency syndrome. Both of sanfu acupoint application with acupuncture and moxibustion and acupuncture and moxibustion can improve clinical symptoms and life Quality of diarrhea-irritable bowel syndrome. The sanfu acupoint application with acupuncture and moxibustion is a safe,simple and effective treatment,wich is worthy of further study. |
