Observation On The Therapeutic Effect Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Protective Therapy Combined With Chemotherapy On Non - Small Cell Lung Cancer

Objective:To Evaluate the clinical efficacy of the protective treatment program of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) combined chemotherapy in the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer.Methods:Divided the80non-small cell lung cancer patients into treatment group and control group, two group accept2cycles of NCCN guidelines standard chemotherapy regimen (21days a cycle), the treatment group on the basis of the treatments of conventional Western medicine plus treatment program of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)(Chinese medicine decoction plus oral therapy+proprietary Chinese medicine+traditional Chinese medicine injections through vein), observe the objective curative effect of tumors,quality of life, toxicity and the body’s immune function.Results:The objective curative effect of tumors of treatment group and the control group were38.9%vs33.3%,the treatment group’s effective rate is higher than that of the control group,but there was no significant difference between two groups (P>0.05). The treatment group has advantages in improving the quality of life, reducing the incidence of adverse reactions and in improving immunity than the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion:Non-small cell lung cancer patients accept the protective treatment program of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) combined chemotherapy can improve the quality of life and reduce the incidence of adverse reactions and improve immunity better than chemotherapy alone.
