| In recent years, the morbidity and mortality of lung cancer is increasing. As there is no specific symptoms of early lung cancer,80% to 90% of patients is already late when they go to see a doctor,which lost the chance of operation and accepted only palliative treatment.Chemotherapy is one of the important means of non-small cell lung cancer treatment, the side effects of which lead to patients who are difficult to accept.Many researches show that Traditional Chinese Medicine has a certain effect in reducing the adverse reaction of chemotherapy.With the transformation of medical model, traditional Chinese medicine has to be payed a lot of attention gradually in the comprehensive treatment. Traditional Chinese Medicine for its "man" concept, pay attention to patients’ subjective feelings, play an important role in improving quality of life of the patients.This study adopts the method of prospective, randomized, controlled at the same time, which applied Traditional Chinese Medicine treatment with chemotherapy in patients of non-small cell lung cancer.Using the lung cancer therapeutic evaluation questionnaire (FACT-L) Chinese version and the protection of traditional Chinese medicine treatment of lung cancer syndromes scale evaluation in the quality of life, clinical symptoms of patients with chemotherapy, evaluate this method reduce the toxic effects of chemotherapy at the same time. Participating in the comprehensive treatment of traditional Chinese medicine can improve the quality of life concept to provide a reliable basis. Research purpose:To observe the protection of Traditional Chinese Medicine treatment of non-small cell lung cancer chemotherapy patients’quality of life. Methods:Using prospective,open,multicenter randomized controlled clinical research.In 96 cases of non-small cell lung cancer patients, randomly divided into treatment group and control group.A total of 80 cases of had completed the test, the treatment group is 43 cases, which are in chemotherapy which is on the basis of the NCCN guidelines for guidance and application of protective treatment of Traditional Chinese medicine at the same time. Strengthening the spleen and stomach, tomifying qi and blood, nourishing liver and kidney is as the main principle.The control group of37 cases, which are in chemotherapy alone or with only two Chen Shang and subtract one.As more than 21-28 days for a cycle, we observed two cycles.Main observation indexes are of FACT-L4.0 Chinese version, the lung cancer syndromes scale, NCI adverse reaction and safety indicators.Statistical methods using SPSS21.0 for statistical analysis.Outcome measures:Participants included 96 patients with non-small cell lung cancer, 80 cases were completed, the former two groups in age, sex, smoking history, tumor treated first and retreatment, tumor stage, pathological type, chemotherapy regimens, quality of life in all areas of integral, clinical syndrome, had no statistical difference (P>0.05), The baseline is smoothly, comparable.Main curative effect index:Quality of life scale:After the first cycle of treatment the treatment group in the emotional state section is better than that of control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05);Treatment group after the second cycle in additional conditions section is better than that of control group, the analysis was statistically significant (P<0.05).Treatment group respectively in the first cycle, the second cycle compared before treatment, the emotion, the additional conditions section in integral rise, with statistical significance.The control group before and after treatment comparison points was down, there was no statistical difference, which shows that compared with the pure chemotherapy, protective treatment of Traditional Chinese Medicine has a certain role in improving the quality of life for patients with chemotherapy.Secondary outcome indicators:A longitudinal clinical symptoms:the first cycle, the second period after treatment, the treatment group was decreased, the clinical symptom integral difference was statistically significant (P<0.05);After treatment and the second period, the incidence rate of treatment group tiredness is lower than the control group, by analysis, statistically significant (P<0.05).Show that protective treatment of traditional Chinese medicine can improve the clinical symptoms, especially for tiredness symptoms obviously.NCl adverse reactions:the first cycle after treatment, the treatment group more than 2 levels of white blood cells decline rate 11.6%, control group was 16.2%, the level is above 1 platelet decline in treatment group was 2.3%, the control group was 8.1%, in white blood cells and platelets drop incidence of treatment group were lower than the control group, but has no statistical significance, protective treatmentof traditional Chinese medicine can reduce the incidence rate of adverse reaction of chemotherapy, shows the trend of the protection of bone marrow.After the first cycle treatment group the rateof hair loss of 0, the control group was 10.8%, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).r Two groups in liver and kidney function, heart function, routine urine routine, and treats the symptoms have no statistical difference after the treatment. The observation of 80 cases of subjects have no found adverse events related to the experimental drug and severe adverse events, accounts the security of protection of traditional Chinese medicine treatment plan.Research conclusions:1.The protective treatment of Traditional Chinese Medicine has a certain role in improving lung cancer chemotherapy patients’ quality of life2. The protective treatment of Traditional Chinese Medicine can improve clinical symptoms, especially for tiredness symptoms obviously, which has a certain trend in the aspect of reducing adverse reaction of chemotherapy.3.The security of the protective treatment of Traditional Chinese Medicine is good, which is suitable for clinical promotion. |
