Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Post - Stroke Depression By

Purpose:To evaluate efficacy, safety and compliance of treatment by Acupuncture of "Baihui Bazhen" combined with taking fluoxetine hydrochloride and taking fluoxetine hydrochloride for post-stroke depression.Methods:Under randomized controlled method,72 patients whose situation matches the standard that we need were divided into 2 groups(The treatment group and control group) on average. Treatment group were given on acupuncture of "Baihui Bazhen" combined with taking fluoxetine hydrochloride, while control group taking fluoxetine hydrochloride everyday.28 days later, the curative effect was evaluated by contrasting the marks variation of Hamilton depression rating, Modified the Scandinavian Stroke Scale, Activity of Daily Living Scale.Result:1. Two groups based on gender, age, course of disease and state of post-stroke depression(including Hamilton depression rating, Modified the Scandinavian Stroke Scale, Activity of Daily Living Scale) had no statistically significant differences (P>0.05), with comparability.2.Two groups each based on Hamilton depression rating, Modified the Scandinavian Stroke Scale, Activity of Daily Living Scale before and after 2 weeks had significant differences compared with their own(P<0.05).3. Two groups each based on Hamilton depression rating, Modified the Scandinavian Stroke Scale, Activity of Daily Living Scale before and after 4 weeks had significant differences compared with their own(P<0.05).4. Two groups based on Hamilton depression rating, Modified the Scandinavian Stroke Scale, Activity of Daily Living Scale had no statistically significant differences compared with their own(P>0.05) after 2 weeks.5. Two groups based on Hamilton depression rating, Modified the Scandinavian Stroke Scale, Activity of Daily Living Scale had significant differences compared with their own(P<0.05) after 4 weeks.6. Compared with the proportion of efficacious,it’s 88.24% in treatment group, which is higher than that is 68.57% in control group.Conclusion:1. Both of Acupuncture of "Baihui Bazhen" combined with taking fluoxetine hydrochloride and taking fluoxetine hydrochloride had curative effects on post-stroke depression.2. Treatment group was superior to the control group.3. Treatment group had better safe curative effect than the control group. Both of the two methods had a good compliance in patients.
